LSC Posts Service Areas in Competition for Basic Field Grants

In accordance with LSC’s multi-year funding policy, LSC only accepts competitive grant applications for Basic Field Grant funding for calendar year 2016 for specific service areas listed below.

Upcoming Deadlines

  • May

    The Notice of Intent to Compete (NIC) is due May 8, 2015. In order to submit a grant proposal, all applicants must first submit a Notice of Intent to Compete (NIC). The NIC is completed through the online application system.

  • May

    LSC will post the list of applicants that filed a Notice of Intent to Compete (NIC) on or around May 11, 2015. The posting will be available on the Notices page. 

  • May

    LSC will hold the Applicant Informational Session (AIS) May 12, 2015, 2 pm EST. This free online conference is designed to provide an understanding of the information needed to prepare the grant application. The AIS is for applicants that have not had an LSC program quality visit (PQV) since January 1, 2013, and for new applicants.
